In January 2023, the Instant Portrait Project tagged along on a humanity project in Mali, Africa. A team of volunteers helped a village build a well.

Mali is a vibrant landlocked country in western Africa. It is a desert, arid country with the Niger River flowing through it. Mali is one of the largest countries in Africa but the population is still relatively small.

Families in the village were able to receive their own Instant Portraits as keepsakes.
